Junior Section
Anniversary:
Bohemians LTC may have a lot of history with this year being its 125th
birthday but we are looking to the future with a strong junior section
that is growing fast.
We
will mark our anniversary year with a number of junior events that will
be open for all.
On the 20th April, junior coaching will
once again be starting. From toddlers to teenagers, all will be welcome;
from beginners to advanced tennis players are coach Anthony will be
happy to teach. The sessions will be from 10-12 every Sunday throughout
the summer.
Tournaments: Also, their will be a lot more tournaments for
juniors to play in during 2008. These tournaments will encourage all
junior members to mix in and play different people to help enhance their
tennis and social skills.
Advanced Players: Finally for the more advanced players, we
are looking to enter one of the junior tennis leagues where we will play
and visit other clubs from around Merseyside.
This year is sure to be an exciting for all at the Bohemians, especially
the juniors …. hope you can join us !!
Social
Play: Arrangements are being made to have the clubhouse and tennis courts open
on two afternoons each week from 2pm -4pm during the school holidays.
Tennis
Ladder Coming soon there will be a
junior ladder competition where junior members can be ranked in order and
every Saturday you can play the player higher than you and the player
lower than you to see how high you can get. The winner will be
presented with a trophy on finals night in September. Posted 3rd
